2008 Anguilla Tennis Academy Summer Camp At The New Facility!!

This year’s camp will be held at the new tennis facility in Blowing Point!!! The ATA boasts a very knowledgeable staff of dedicated tennis professionals, top quality equipment, loads of games, prizes, and fun.
Mission Statement
To expand upon the successful 14 year history of the ATA while providing the highest quality tennis instruction and tournament play to youth in Anguilla, the Caribbean, the USA, and others from abroad.
2008 Schedule
July 7 – 20: Tennis is Monday-Friday
Tennis camp will be conducted by Jason Allen, Executive Director of the ATA as well as other staff. The children will also benefit from coaching from the top juniors of the ATA.
Ages
- 5-7: 8:30 - 9:45 am
- 8-17: 10 - 11:30 am
- * Advanced Players 10-17: 4 - 6 pm

July 23- 27: Week # 3 “Visiting Coaches & Player Week”
Over 3 international coaches will be on hand for this special week of tennis. There will also be international children participating again. The year end camp tournament is always a highlight as well.

Activities
Each player will participate in on court drills and match play Monday – Friday.
Participants Should Bring:
- Drinking water
- Tennis shoes (no black sole) and racket. If black sole shoes are worn, the child will not be allowed to play.
Participants will receive a camp T-shirt and a Certificate. Tennis rackets will also be available for camp participants!!!
2008 Fees
A local registration fee of US $40.00 will be charged to all participants in this year’s program. This fee will help to cover various costs incurred during the three week sessions. A late fee of US$60.00 will be charged to participants registering after the July 1, 2008 deadline. Camp T-Shirt included!!!
Management Team
Jason Allen – ATA Executive Director
Mr. Allen is a certified PTR Professional. He graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a B.A. in Spanish and Secondary Education. This summer camp will be his 7th as he participated in 98 and 99 as a visiting coach and 2004-2006 as the camp organizer. Mr. Allen has lived in Anguilla for over three years now as the director of the ATA as well as the tennis director for Cuisinart Resort and Spa, Malliouhana Hotel and Spa, St. Regis Temenos Villas, Covecastles, and Cerulean. He has dedicated his life to developing young adults. He also write for The Anguillian newspaper
