Background
The Founder of the Anguilla Tennis and Education Foundation recognize that sports is a powerful tool in moulding and uplifting young people. The Founder also believes that through sports, core values of respect, discipline, hard work and thoroughness are an excellent foundation for young persons to succeed in careers they choose to pursue.
The Founder recognized the efforts of the Anguilla Tennis Academy in Anguilla, an island in the Caribbean of just over 12,000 persons. The Anguilla Tennis Academy is the brainchild of a visionary local Anguillian tennis player who himself expanded his education through the sport of tennis and paid it forward by constructing a world class facility and facilitating a tennis program which has since 1996 awarded thirteen (13) graduates of the program tennis scholarships to prestigious Division II colleges in the USA.
