George Richards

Coach George Richards is a certified tennis instructor with over 40 years of teaching and playing experience. He received his tennis instruction certification from the National Tennis Academy, USA. Coach George is soft-spoken and is known for his patience and attention to detail during his private teaching. His gift of patience and graceful style of play has earned him the nickname “Mr. Smooth”.

Coach George enjoys working with players of all ages and skill levels. He uses his knowledge of different techniques to make his private and group lessons a fun experience. Coach George is the Anguilla Tennis Academy’s (ATA) Head Tennis Professional and Director of Tournaments. He manages and coordinates all tournaments conducted at the ATA which is a vital component to the overall success of the ATA’s programs.

Coach George also provides tennis instruction services at Malliouhana Hotel and Four Seasons, Anguilla Resort. His previous working experience include managing tennis facilities at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel, St. Marten Sports Fitness and Tennis Center, St. Maarten Lawn Tennis Club, Port de Plaissance Hotel, and Belair Fitness Community Center.

Coach George enjoys working with both children and adults and is excited to impart his knowledge and skills to participants and members at the ATA. We are honored to have such a dedicated and committed person in Coach George as a member on Team ATA.
